For our June KKC we once again decided to
revisit the idea of doing a craft as opposed to going on an “outing”. We had a couple of choices but the one we
selected was beaded jewellery with Lynne, owner of Design by Lynne. 9 of us gathered together in Lynne’s studio
in Eversdal to learn new techniques in beading, and whilst some chose fairly
simple options others were very brave and decided to opt for items and
techniques that proved to be rather challenging. With snacks and cocktails flowing, the 3
hours that we spent beading seemed to fly by.
All in all we had a fantastic time and came away with some beautiful
pieces of jewellery. A very big thank
you to Lynne for sharing her knowledge with us and for being exceptionally
