JIT movie KKC to see Ticket to Paradise (belated September KKC). It was a busy weekend with birthday parties, so only a few ladies could join.
Movie tickets were 50% off when booking online and using a Nedbank card. This special also applies to ABSA customers. Easy online booking system and you just have to swipe the same Nedbank card when collecting the tickets at the self-service ticket machine. Please note that you'll get a ticket AND a receipt for each seat booked - and they're going to want to see both when you enter the movie area.
We bought snacks and Lucy recommends the R55 special with small popcorn and iced coffee. Outside movie theatre there is a VIP area with tub chairs and a bar. Not sure how one qualifies for that. Movie itself was good - definitely worth watching. Very funny - even Lucy laughed :-). George Clooney and Julia Roberts are still awesome an have great chemistry. Movie theatre is huge and spacious. We sat in the 2nd last row and could see, but you can easily book seats right in front and still be ok.
Prior to the movie we met for supper at Primi. This turned out to be a good suggestion (thanks Nads x) because the Food Court was quite full. Service was a bit slow, but we made it in time without rushing too much. Food was good. Had the lovely surprise of Clarissa joining us mid-shipping for a quick chat. Lovely evening out with friends x💖💃
