New initiative trend to hit the market. We all were getting bored of our old clothes and wanted a brand new look, new styles, and just to busy to go out shopping. The girls got together one Friday evening and brought all our old clothes, bags, shoes. Everyone went through each other's clothes and took what we liked. Good food, wine and conversation was had by all too. The leftover clothes we decided that we would donate this to a charity. A week after we had our little "clothes party" this article was found in the Essentials magazine : "Q Ever wondered what to do with your clothes you no longer wear? A: Throw a "Share What You Don't Wear' party! Invite the girls over, open a few bottles of wine, serve some snacks and enjoy rummaging through one another's 'this is o not me anyore!' apparel. What you no longer wear, your girlfriends might love and vice versa. Clothes with no home go to charity!
We donated the clothes to Home with patients with HIV. Here is feedback from them: "On behalf of Catholicare, I should like to thank you most sincerely for the clothing donated to the children and their parents affected with HIV/Aids. These will be taken out to the HOPE M'fuleni Clinic, you and your friends are welcome to visit the clinic at any time. Once again, many thanks for you donation.
